It's always good when...…..

…….when we bring a long negotiated enquiry to the conclusion our client needed, allowing them to take a very large step forward in their business growth.

It isn't possible not to get a real buzz when you know that you have been instrumental in achieving this massive event in the evolution of their business.

We become so involved in the details of the sometimes complex requirements that it all means far more than just 'doing a deal'.

We consider ourselves fortunate indeed that we are able to make a difference.

We could perhaps do the same for you.

COMMERCIAL FUNDING.  You need it?  You have it?     Either way you need The Coachmen!

A basic lesson in business is to recognise an opportunity when it presents itself. The next lesson is to say yes!
That is how we have become a highly competive provider of Commercial Funding.
When our coaching clients began to ask about funding it took no time at all for the lightbulb to come on.
We have spent our working lives providing training and advice within the Finance Industry, so who better to seek out and provide the very best funding facilities?  And that is what we do, often after the client has hit the buffers via 'usual' lenders.
Whatever your funding situation it's worth looking to see if things could be a lot better.  We would love to hear from you.   www.thecoachmen.net

Management Development - Does yours need a boost?

Do you, or do your managers need to:

Become a motivational leader
Delegate work effectively.
Communicate better with staff and colleagues.
Lead from the front  - become more proactive.
Tackle issues when they arise for better performance.
Coach your staff more effectively
Develop staff to improve performance
Better organise workloads.
Manage conflict for better outcomes
Become more creative and innovative
Hold better and more productive meetings.
Feel satisfied with your own performance.

There are long-term, on-going courses available.  These can be very effective, albeit very expensive.  Excellent for multi-nationals with an enormous development budget, but beyond the reach of most slightly smaller organisations.

For those not in the multi-national bracket, but that want to develop themselves or their teams in the ways mentioned above, there are alternatives.

Short courses can be very effective if well constructed and focussed.  A one day course can achieve a great deal if delivered thoughtfully and attended by those who want to progress.

One day business management development courses is just one of the facilities in the bag of The Coachmen.  Probably the most experienced partnership in the commercial training world.

Having notched up over 75 years of commercial know-how and training it is hard to imagine a wider range of hands-on experience available anywhere!

Call us for more information, and a very pleasant surprise about costs!

Failure!

4/28/2015

Everyone and every business fails sometimes.
Failure is not failure unless you don't treat it as an opportunity to learn.
There must always be a postmortem to objectively establish what went wrong, but the blame culture, knee-jerk aggression and excuses don't help to turn failure into something positive for the future.
The postmortem must happen.  The atmoshere must be created that enables openness and honesty. and then something good can come from what appeared to be a disaster.

And one important thing.   Inorder to ensure that objectivity and positivity emanates from the meeting, call in someone who you trust and who has no vested interest in the issue or the personnel.

Who?   It's one of the services offered by The Coachmen.

Amazing!

Today I (Paul) had the opportunity to speak with a young man who had and has a lot of personal and business issues.
He was telling me that he had employed a professional coach from a well know franchise, and just what he had learned from the sessions he had purchased.

As he explained to me, my jaw began to slowly drop.   Why?  Well two reasons.
The first was that a lot of what he had purchased what we give for free, and the second was that it was clearly not suitable for HIM.

He was, is is everyone, unique.  He was getting a textbook service, but he was to be found in no textbook.

There is more to coaching than learning the techniques.  It must include personal experience, a real desire to help.  An understaning of the person, not in any superficail way but genuinely and deeply.

It should never happen of course, but there appears to be an occasional temptation (when the client doesn't fit)  to have him or her fit into a pre-built box, rather than to build a box for the client.

That is one reason why this coach doesn't much like the title!

There are very many coaches out there.  When choosing yours, take care.

The FUNdamentals

When looking to employ a coach there are few things to bear in mind.

Whilst it is important to ensure that the FUN is never taken out of the fundamental coaching and training, it is equally important to ensure that there is tangible, measurable improvement and benefit to the recipients.

It is important that your coach or coaching company make sessions enjoyable and memorable, but they have to have left a lasting and positive benefit to make them truly worthwhile.

Coaching and training is a serious business, as it can make all the difference to the performance of the individual and a Company, so it is always best to employ a serious coach, but one who remembers that nothing beats a bit of fun along the way!

By pure coincidence The Coachmen provide sessions that are enjoyable, memorable, beneficial, positive and lasting!   Amazing!

Working with Professionals

"Money well spent"
That is a phrase that we love to hear.  Indeed, it is a phrase that we must hear from every client.
Otherwise the high standard of delivery and relevance that is vital to The Coachmen would be in doubt!
There are some areas of business (and indeed life in general) where it is wise and beneficial to hand it over to others who specialise in the area of concern.
It is a trait of human nature that we tend to delay making that decision.  Almost always at some ultimate cost, because every day of delay is a day further along the path that is not leading you in the direction that you should be travelling.

Speak to us.  We don't bite and we won't ask you to commit to anything, except perhaps drinking the coffee that we'll provide.

Why Contact The Coachmen?

Why contact The Coachmen when there are more Coaches than you can wave a stick at?
Well, that's true. Every man and woman and their dog appear to think that they can coach others.  Sometimes because thay have purchased a franchise. Sometimes because they have been on a course.  Sometimes because the employment options were limited.
But sometimes it's because they have many years of hands-on successful experience behind them.  No franchise purchase, no training courses to learn how to coach, just old fashioned experience and proven expertise.
If you are looking for improvement within your business or for yourself, use one such Coach.   The wrong choice can be costly in many ways, but where might one be found?
You've guessed it!      www.thecoachmen.net
